ArcticTravels
Arctic travels is a travelling agency that focuses on skiing and snowboarding excursions/holidays. The aim is to allow clients to easily plan their trip exactly how they desire, keep track of their planned trip and also ask questions to specialised travel agents when necessary. They aim to be luxurious in quality while providing an affordable and memorable trip.
As a UX/UI designer, I am responsible for the whole process from research, conception, creation and final design. The aim is to design a new functional website suitable for desktop and mobile devices that cater to people within travel who find it difficult to easily plan trips in one go and will be able to have all required information in one website.
designer role
To be able to create a space where people are able to navigate with ease when booking trips and don’t have to have various tabs open trying to keep up with what needs to be done or purchased. Having one product that reduces the stress of planning trips, especially for bigger groups.
design goal
moodboard
For the mood-board I decided to take inspiration from ski images. The snowy mountains, skiing activity itself and the fashion to help inspire the colour palette.
Skiing is a winter sport and known for it’s cold temps, blue skies and white snowy mountains - which would be s suitable colour to include for this project. When it comes to ski clothes the colours vary with people wearing bright colours with patterns and opting for photochromic/iridescent googles
